Sema Yurttaş Turgut

She was born in 1967, in Çanakkale. She graduated from Ankara Atatürk Anadolu High School and Middle East Technical University, with a major on Business Administration.

Then she entered the Ziraat Bank Banking School and became one of the first graduates. After working as a specialist in Ankara for a while, her Istanbul love overcame her and she started to work in the audit board of Garanti Bank. He worked as auditor, branch manager and unit manager.

In her own words, she loves her work as “it is about humans; it is communication oriented relation management, and it has the necessity to observe every aspect of life, and it teaches “thinking outside the box” when judging the events happening around us, both on macro and micro level”. She ended her banking adventure after 20 years of self-development, human relations, and many trainings on management at national and international scale.

She provided pro-bono teachings, trainings and consultancy for a non-governmental organization in the field of education. Her life motto is “Every human has the power to fulfill his wishes,” and when she met with her current profession, coaching, she understood that coaching is the ultimate reflection of her adopted motto and that’s how she thought she found the job of her life.

At Erickson College International, where she received the professional coaching certificate, she completed Art and Science of Coaching, High Performance Team Coaching, Facilitation in Group Coaching, and the 9 Habits of Integral Brain programs.

Sema Yurttas Turgut is the founder of isteveyasa.com and provides coaching for motivation, change, second life, retirement period, career and management. In addition to her professional coaching where she transformed her hobbies into her job, she is also a good reader and prolific writer, voluntary consultant for NGOs and trainer. She describes herself as “a lifelong curious student, an amateur stage actress, a life traveller interested in every kind of dance, on a long journey of becoming an explorer.”
